Sibel Edmonds..."Kill The Messenger"

Sibel Edmonds, a 32-year-old Turkish-American, was hired as a translator by the FBI shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 because of her knowledge of Middle Eastern languages. She was fired less than a year later in March 2002 for reporting shoddy work and security breaches to her supervisors that could have prevented those attacks.

Edmonds has been fighting the corruption permeating the FBI since her unfair dismissal and sued to contest her firing in July 2002. On July 6, 2004 , Judge Reggie Walton in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia dismissed Edmonds' case, citing the government's state secrets privilege. The American Civil Liberties Union is representing Edmonds in her appeal of that ruling. Oral arguments in the case are scheduled for April 21, 2005. F.B.I Nuclear coverup

http://www.bradblog.com/?p=5582

Existence of FBI Case Number, Described in Anonymous Letter Obtained by The BRAD BLOG, Corroborated by Paper
Letter Describes Senior State Dept. Official Marc Grossman as Tipping off Turkish Embassy to Valerie Plame Wilson's 'Brewster Jennings' Counter-Proliferation Operation...
By Brad Friedman from on the road...

London's Sunday Times has just published a follow-up to their explosive front-pager from two weeks ago which described allegations by former FBI translator turned whistleblower Sibel Edmonds.

Though there has been worldwide coverage of the recent blockbuster in the Rupert Murdoch-owned British paper, the U.S. media have remained entirely mum, a point which has drawn great consternation from both Edmonds and the 70's-era "Pentagon Papers" Daniel Ellsberg, whom The BRAD BLOG has spoken to this evening, following the release of tonight's extraordinary new Times piece.

The paper now reports that they are able to corroborate an apparent FBI cover-up of documents detailing an investigation of the theft and sale of nuclear secrets to agents working for Turkey and Israel, who in turn shared the secrets with Pakistan, who in turn may have shared those secrets with Iran, North Korea, Libya, and possibly even al-Qaeda.

As The BRAD BLOG reported along with the Times two weeks ago, the operation also includes allegations that high-ranking U.S. officials --- such as Marc Grossman, a former U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, who served as the #3 official in the State Department under Colin Powell and Richard Armitage from 2001 to 2005 --- were involved in the sale of those secrets and may have accepted pay-offs from agents in the black market network in the bargain.

The Times article tonight was originally published under the headline "FBI 'covers up' file exposing theft of nuclear secrets," according to Google News.

Though that header has already been changed to "FBI denies file exposing nuclear secrets theft."

Photobucket
The Times' article refers to an FBI case number (203A-WF-210023) referenced in an anonymous letter sent to The Liberty Coalition, a DC-based transpartisan civil and human rights watchdog organization. A subsequent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, asking for information referring to that case number, resulted in a denial from the FBI that such a case exists.

The letter describes, among other things, allegations that Grossman had warned officials at the Turkish embassy in DC of the existence of a CIA counter-proliferation operation using a "CIA cover company" by the name of "Brewster Jennings." That company was a front used by covert CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson, who was later outed by White House officials in the now-infamous CIA Leak case.

The BRAD BLOG had obtained a copy of the anonymous letter some weeks ago, along with the FBI's denial of the existence of related information via the FOIA request. We've been in touch with the Sunday Times over the past week, as this story has been developing.

We have yet to publish the letter in full, however, as we have been unable to independently corroborate a number of allegations made in the letter.

The Times, however, reports that they've "obtained a document signed by an FBI official showing the existence of the file" referred to in the anonymous letter.

"Here is the FBI and DoJ in charge of investigating the CIA Torture Tape case and the missing White House emails. So who is going to investigate the FBI and DoJ if they have destroyed evidence, because it looks like that's what they have done."
We've also just spoken to Edmonds, who has been under an unprecedented 5-year-long gag order by the U.S. Department of Justice. The DoJ has threatened Edmonds with prosecution under the so-called "State Secrets Privilege." The threat of prison has kept her from speaking publicly about details related to the case, which she claims to have heard while translating wiretaps for the FBI in 2001 and 2002. She has spent many years encouraging members of Congress to hold hearings and a public investigation into the case. Despite public support from senators such as Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA), and a promise for investigations from members of Rep. Henry Waxman's (D-CA) office, who have been briefed on the details, no such investigation has been carried out to date.

Edmonds denied being the source for the anonymous letter, telling The BRAD BLOG "absolutely not," when we asked her directly if she was its author...

In addition to references in the letter to "Recorded wiretaps pertaining to conversations between Mr. Marc Grossman...and a Turkish official at the Turkish Embassy in Washington, DC, between August 2001 and December 2001," there are references to "Internal communication within the Department of Justice between December 2005 and march [sic] 2007." Edmonds points out she has no information on such internal communications at any period after 2002, when she was fired by the FBI after whistleblower complaints to her superiors about infiltration within the translations department. Those allegations were later described by the DoJ Inspector General as "credible," "serious," and "warrant[ing] a thorough and careful review by the FBI."

When we asked whether she could confirm the case number referenced in the anonymous letter, Edmonds told us, "I can confirm outright that the FBI lied in their denial of the existence of the file. 100%. It was an outright lie."

The case in question, she told The BRAD BLOG, careful to avoid categorical defiance of her gag order, "concerns 1996 to 2002 information, targeting Turkish counter-intelligence, and it involves U.S. officials both appointed and elected."

The Times' report tonight offers similar information from Edmonds on the FBI case number in question...

One of the documents relating to the case was marked 203A-WF-210023. Last week, however, the FBI responded to a freedom of information request for a file of exactly the same number by claiming that it did not exist. But The Sunday Times has obtained a document signed by an FBI official showing the existence of the file.

Edmonds believes the crucial file is being deliberately covered up by the FBI because its contents are explosive. She accuses the agency of an “outright lie.”

“I can tell you that that file and the operations it refers to did exist from 1996 to February 2002. The file refers to the counterintelligence programme that the Department of Justice has declared to be a state secret to protect sensitive diplomatic relations,” she said.

After the initial story in the Times two weeks ago, Edmonds posted a number of photographs of high-ranking U.S. officials and members of think tanks, on her website, without names or comment. The photos are believed to be those she alleges are involved in the criminal activities described in the various coverage of her explosive allegations. She would not comment to The BRAD BLOG concerning the photographs on that page, titled only: "Sibel Edmonds' State Secrets Privilege Gallery."

Luke Ryland, assuredly the world's foremost expert on the Edmonds case, writes tonight, on the FBI denial that any documents exist in reference to the specifically named case number:

The FBI's comments demonstrate conclusively that either:
a) They are lying, or
b) They have destroyed the evidence of this multi-year investigation concerning the corruption of high-level US officials, the nuclear black market, money laundering and narcotics trafficking.
"It's ironic," Edmonds told us, "here is the FBI and DoJ in charge of investigating the CIA Torture Tape case and the missing White House emails. So who is going to investigate the FBI and DoJ if they have destroyed evidence, if that's what they've done, because it looks like that's what they have done."

Without naming Grossman --- as they also failed to do in their previous report two weeks ago --- the Times reports on some of the letter's specific allegations...

It claims the government official warned a Turkish member of the network that they should not deal with a company called Brewster Jennings because it was a CIA front company investigating the nuclear black market. The official’s warning came two years before Brewster Jennings was publicly outed when one of its staff, Valerie Plame, was revealed to be a CIA agent in a case that became a cause célèbre in the US.

The letter also makes reference to wiretaps of Turkish “targets” talking to [Pakistan's] ISI intelligence agents at the Pakistani embassy in Washington and recordings of “operatives” at the [American Turkish Council].

"We are all familiar with the cliche that 'the cover-up is worse than the crime,' but that is often nonsense," Ryland writes tonight. "Just as in the CIA tape destruction case, here we have rational people making 'rational' decisions, not in the heat of the moment, to commit felonies by destroying evidence of treason amongst other crimes. The original crimes are much worse than the cover-up, and the guilty parties know it, that's why they decided to destroy and cover up all of the evidence."

He concludes by adding, "We have the crimes, we have the cover-ups, where are the consequences?"

American Media - (Still) Missing in Action

Last October, in a BRAD BLOG Exclusive, Edmonds had announced she was willing to defy her gag order, in order to give the entire story to any American mainstream broadcast outlet who would allow her to do so. Not a single media operation in this country took her up on the offer.

In November, we followed up that report with comments from the legendary Pentagon Papers whistleblower, Daniel Ellsberg, who described Edmonds' story to us as "far more explosive than the Pentagon Papers," while excoriating the American mainstream media for their failure to cover the story. Even then, while foreign media requested interviews with Edmonds, the American media refused to touch the story.

London's Sunday Times then contacted The BRAD BLOG after our series of reports, hoping to get in touch with Edmonds. They claimed they had some corroboration for elements of her story that had leaked out previously, and wanted to touch base with her. After putting them in touch with her, the result was the blockbuster story two weeks ago detailing allegations of a wide network of "moles" in place at U.S. nuclear installations, who were stealing and selling information on the foreign nuclear black market, as U.S. officials either looked the other way or were complicit in the criminal activities.

In response to that story, the top newspapers from Turkey to Pakistan to India to Israel picked up on the report. But in the United States, incredibly enough, absolutely nothing. Not a single major American media outlet covered the explosive and disturbing allegations.

We asked Edmonds tonight whether she had concerns that the British media outlet leading the way on coverage was, in fact, the Rupert Murdoch-owned Sunday Times, as some in the blogosphere had noted, with some concern, after the initial report two weeks ago.

"Murdoch is not doing it," she replied. "It's the difference between the UK's reporters and the U.S. reporters and the way they go after stories. It shows that they have far more leeway. I think a lot of it is the self-censorship [of the U.S. media] and the reliance 100% on only government sources."

"I have had [American] reporters call me and tell me that I have 'stumbled on some big time national security, covert operation'," she continued, explaining that as the reason given by some for staying away from the story.

"Well, Iran-Contra was a goddamn covert operation too! Even if that's what they're telling reporters in the U.S., it doesn't make the operation any less illegal. And the cover-up of that is outrageous," she told us tonight.

In an op-ed response being prepared by Daniel Ellsberg for publishing tomorrow by The BRAD BLOG, the Vietnam-era whistleblower offers these thoughts, in the wake of tonight's Times story, and the shameful failure of the American media to cover this important story to date...

For the second time in two weeks, the entire U.S. press has let itself be scooped by Rupert Murdoch's London Sunday Times on a dynamite story of criminal activities by corrupt U.S. officials promoting nuclear proliferation. But there is a worse journalistic sin than being scooped, and that is participating in a cover-up of information that demands urgent attention from the public, the U.S. Congress and the courts. For the last two weeks --- one could say, for years --- the major American media have been guilty of ignoring entirely the allegations of the courageous and highly credible source Sibel Edmonds, quoted in the London Times on January 6, 2008 in a front-page story that was front-page news in much of the rest of the world but was not reported in a single American newspaper or network.
Ellsberg goes on to write, "It is up to readers to demand that this culpable silent treatment end."

The BRAD BLOG will publish Ellsberg's comments in full tomorrow.

In addition to the Sunday Times story, we heartily recommend Luke Ryland's coverage which, as usual, connects all of the most important dots for us.

Our archive of previous Sibel Edmonds-related coverage can be read here.

Brasscheck TV: Meet the real boss

Who was in charge of national defense on 9/11 while
the so-called president flied aimlessly from one
place to another?

Who met in secret with oil company representatives
early in the administration and briefed them on
the "inevitable" invasion of Iraq?

Who organized the campaign of lies that drove the US
into an illegal, immoral and pointless war?

And who does all these things with total impunity?

The real president of the United States is Dick Cheney.

But who runs Cheney?

The answer to that question is laughably easy to
answer:

Meet the real boss

Yes sir Mr. Rockefeller
By the turn of the last century, the Rockefeller family and its associates had a virtual monopoly over the oil and mineral resources of the world.

Not much has changed since.

Over the years, the group has created and/or taken control of a dizzying array of politicians, news media, academic institutions, think tanks and foundations to further its aims.

No one gets to be a serious candidate for President of the United States without being under their control and domination and all White Houses pick Rockefeller employees for its top slots.

Nixon had Henry Kissinger (a Rockefeller agent), Reagan had Bush Sr, and Bush Jr. has Dick Cheney. And on it goes.

Two noteworthy quotes from this video:

* "The (Rockefeller) family has a long history of strengthening the bonds of friendship throughout the Americas."

In fact, the Rockefellers are despised by the people of Latin America.

There's not a Latin American dictator that the family did not have friendly relations with.

If a dictator didn't exist, the family provided one. Under the direction of Rockefeller employee Henry Kissinger, the US initiated and then supported a reign of terror in Chile after organizing the violent overthrow of its democratically elected president.

* "We are able to go about our business here in the Americas and throughout the world with confidence and security because we know the strength of this government stands behind us."

Our business? What business exactly is that? And why should the strength of this or any government stand behind a private commercial enterprise?

To the public and the press, Cheney is a sneering, snarling mad dog.

In front of Rockefeller, he's groveling and obsequious and Rockefeller rewards him accordingly with a pat on the head: "Good boy!"

Here's the real power in the US. Just look at the body language. It could not be any plainer

"Truth" is Dead, Long Live The Truth-- The death rattle of the 9/11 "Truth" movement...

By marc awodey

The death rattle of the 9/11 “Truth” movement is now heard by all except its most devout adherents. It’s sad they feel they have no other outlet for expressing fears about Bush/Cheney and American hegemony, than by repeating repeating repeating thoroughly debunked conspiracy claims. But “daylight is the best antiseptic” and the 9/11 “truth” fad is a victim of its own internet success. Practically everyone on the planet has heard conspiracist rants on U-tube, in blogs, forums, books, and videos, and found such claims to lack veracity. Thus hot air is rapidly seeping out of the “truth” balloon. One reason is because of the oxymoron that there are so many claims on the truth. No planes “theories,” artificial voice recordings from air phones, laser beams, flight 93 passengers killed in Cleveland - you name it, and it’s a “theory.”

But an ever increasing number of former truthers are cautiously starting to make their voices heard as well. I’d like to welcome casual truthers back to reality, and suggest meaningful ways they might get beyond the “truth” obsession, to work on more productive issues. Obviously the hard core conspiracists exist on blind faith, and will never leave their comfort zone. But for casual “truth” supporters who are beginning to turn away from the dark side - here are some simple ideas:

1) Deprogram yourself. Or at least be inquisitive beyond the echo chamber. If you want to know what happened to building 7 (for example) gather information broadly, not just from the 9/11 “truth” sources. Also ask about WTC buildings 3,4,5, and 6 - they didn’t get hit by planes either, but were destroyed as well. Just do your own internet research - but again, beyond the echo chamber. There’s also a great History Channel video: 9/11 Conspiracies, Fact or Fiction to be found on The History Channel Store. Hey, if i can watch Loose Change, you can watch 9/11 Conspiracies, Fact or Fiction. And if you really want to be brave check out actual debunking sites, such as the Journal of Debunking 9/11 Conspiracy Theories. Better still. read Alexander Cockburn, Matthew Rothschild, Matt Taibbi, and the articles on PublicEye.org - especially Chip Berlet’s review of Griffin’s New Pearl Harbor, and Griffin’s intellectually weak response.

2) Register people to vote. I’ve done it as an elected Justice of the Peace, but in Vermont any notary public can as well. See what it takes in your area. Empower those who feel disenfranchised (including yourself) and get involved in the political system. Jumping up and down with a Ron Paul sign isn’t a meaningful act, but driving people to the polls is.

3) Go a step further -wave petitions instead of banners. Calling for a new investigation in blogs will never get you anywhere - try to take the question to the polls. Here in Burlington, Vermont a group did put a ballot item before voters last spring asking the Vermont congressional delegation to call for a new investigation - and I publicly supported the measure, because I feel we need to get past 9/11 Truth and move on to reality based issues. That initiative was a productive exercise even though it received only about 35% of the vote. Vox populi vox dei. So take what you learn from your “truth” campaign and put it toward local issues next.

Pay attention to what your local school board is doing - that’s going to have a more direct impact on your kids than whether of not Wirt Walker III is George Bush’s cousin. (By the way - he’s not. The Bush family genealogy is easily found online - fact checking is a wonderful thing).

4) Think about what the hateful responses to non-conspiracist articles (such as this one will surely elicit) indicate about the critical thinking skills of the hard core fringe. Ask that about the motives of the the stars of conspiracism as well. All are raking in high speaking fees now, all are selling stacks of books and videos. Are they intellectually honest, or dishonest? Noam Chomsy has pointed out how the “who benefitted” rational is a fallacy, because so many have used 9/11 for their own purposes that on the macro level, the question illustrates nothing.

Also look at Morgan Reynolds’ ties to Lyndon LaRouche, Alex Jones’ to white supremacists, Jim Fetzer’s pre 9/11 JFK conspiracism, Steven Jones’ messianic Mormonism, David Griffin’s ties to holocaust deniers such as Eric Hufschmidt. What do they tell you about 9/11 “truth?”

So those are just a few ideas for removing the scales from your eyes. I once thought I didn’t like haiku, so I started reading Basho, Issa, Buson, and I wrote 1000 verses, and finally I decided my dislike was from ignorance. Casual truthers who ask themselves tough questions about the meaning of truth, refresh themselves on the rigors of the scientific method, and learn the basic attributes of logical fallacies may have a similar epiphany.

Arguing over the minutiae of conspiracist group think is about as productive as counting angels on the head of a pin, so forgive me if I choose not to debate you on Hani Hanjour’s piloting skills, or squibs, or the buzz word “free fall.” Just write me off as left gatekeeper, and a stooge in the pay of the CIA. That’’s fine. I’m not asking you to convince me of anything. I’m asking you to question how truthful you’ve been to yourself.

Is there such a thing as 911 truth elite ism?
Casual truth? is that like GQ truth? where we sit around writing 911 hykoos with half dressed 13 yr olds drinking red bull and vodka in the snow while big speakers thump a constant brainwashing bass tone while JZ and Donald trump drink krystal off of Rupert Murdochs cock? Never heard of a casual revolution either. And I have never witnessed ANYONE conduct themselves the way he or anyone like him has ever described. Furthermore on the occasion that a 911 truther is on the news they are...Yeah you guessed it, treated like a freak beat about the brow like a knuckle draggin cave dweller and sent packing. Now I dont call that a fair representation of the truth, do you?

9/11 Blacklist: Using Our Dollars for Change

By CasaZaza

.. .. ..Photobucket
911Blacklist.org.. .. .. ..

In the six years since the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, the mainstream media in America has largely been a mouthpiece of the Bush administration. All of the major networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and others had until recently, been silently complicit in the cover-up of the events of that day, the un-Constitutional wars that would follow, and the steady erosion of our Constitutionally protected rights.

When the "9-11 Truth" community grew to the point that it could no longer be ignored, these same networks that had ignored the issue for so long began to attack individuals and groups of individuals who were seeking answers to the lingering questions which still remain about 9-11. As the success of various truth movements continues to broaden, these attacks have now escalated to include Peace activists, monetary reform activists, and now even supporters of Presidential candidate Ron Paul. Recent attacks have suggested that the 9-11 movement, Peace activists, and Ron Paul supporters are terrorists, and some in the media have implied that we should be silenced.

THEREFORE: We intend to compile a comprehensive Black List of the advertisers who support this anti-American programming and urge concerned parties to boycott these products and services until the product advertisements are pulled.

We take these attacks very seriously and regard them as a frontal assault on our freedom and liberty as Americans. The garbage coming from the talking heads makes a mockery of the First Amendment to the Constitution and MUST NOT go unopposed. We must take a stand against this kind of yellow journalism and we think we have a way to make these networks feel our presence. All network television and radio are driven by advertising dollars. We can get the networks attention by targeting their sponsors, and therefore, have an impact on their advertising revenues. The most effective way of doing this is to boycott the products and services of the advertisers which choose to advertise on these various networks. There is strength in numbers and we need to make ourselves heard by hitting them where it hurts, in the pocket-book. This site is dedicated to beginning that process.
- 911Blacklist.org
..

On the grand chessboard of the power elite in this world, we may only represent insignificant entities insofar as we are concerned as individuals. However, when considered as a group, we have the potential for considerable influence. Our strength in numbers only serves our cause to the detriment when we blindly live our lives as an economic engine for the ruling class - it is our ignorance that works against us. Our strength is the realization of millions of independent thinkers who can influence the cause of freedom by affecting change where we ourselves hold the most power - as in boycotts of key industries and products.

There is another philosophical aspect to this direction of thought - there is no point in fighting fear and violence with the same methods used by those set against you - in which case you risk becoming that which you oppose. When we are illuminated with the light of truth and understanding, we can then use that power to influence the course of events and effect change. How long could they last if a majority of the people started to boycott key industries and products the corporations are dependent upon for rising profits?

Too often people feel can feel helpless against the giant machine of corporatism. 911 Blacklist gives us the opportunity and the mechanism by which we can take back control. I urge everyone to get involved with this project - indeed, the only way it can work is if sufficient numbers of people realize the power we have collectively.

Music to soothe the Ron Paul burn. You feelin that????

The takedown has begun Run Bush RUN!!!!

The Takedown Has Begun
Jim Kirwan

Bush & his Bandits have been watching too much FOX Television. Someone needs to tell George that he's not living an episode of "24,"

and that his view of a national threat is being influenced by believing in too many of his own skewed fantasies about national security. (1)

In view of yesterday's declaration by the Media that 'all States will comply with the National ID Act by this coming May, or their citizens will be refused permission to fly'-The governor's of the States within the United States need to rebel, as a body, against this completely unwarranted ORDER from the White House via Michael Chertoff, whose own US citizenship is in doubt. (2)

When the Decider took away the State's National Guard Units, to use them for his private war on Iraq: Bush violated both the spirit and the reasons behind the need for the National Guard in the first place. There are over two and half million men and women in US military uniforms, but apparently that was not enough force to complete his failed mission in Iraq. He claimed to NEED the services and equipment of all our National Guard units as well.

Has anyone in the thoroughly tarnished administration even heard of "states rights" - maybe the State's of the United States have NO RIGHTS AT ALL anymore! We know people no longer have any rights in the USA - now the same is apparently true for our supposedly sovereign States as well? (3)

However Bush has now gone further-he is threatening the citizens of every State that has made a choice against the National ID Card Act, with refusing to allow their citizens to fly. Bush has exceeded his authority because apparently he has never understood that in this country the individual States do have rights, especially when they confront the Federal Government. We have not yet become a total dictatorship!

This new "law" came into existence in complete secrecy, and was signed into law on 5-5-05. Why was it exactly that congress needed to pass the Real ID card legislation without ANY public discussion at all: and then after this piece of national treachery was signed, why was it essentially hidden by a near total news blackout - until now?

Its one thing to tell the nation what is needed - but another thing entirely to just pass a law by fiat - and then compound this obscenity by threatening to bar citizens from flying unless their individual States comply with the autocratic-will of an out-of-control executive branch. (4)

First this government (the same one that was supposedly blind-sided by 911) needs to conclusively prove to every citizen that they KNOW anything at all about "SECURITY" or data theft - and then the nation needs to have an open and very public discussion about the specifics of the supposed 'need' for this national ID Card.

Security does not come from make-believe credentials that can always be forged-the record of this fact goes all the way back to the very earliest beginning of recorded history itself. Real security involves using 'intelligence' to detect plans before they can commence. But in this case there has only been the total failure of 'our' supposed Airport Security Screeners, (TSA) virtually every time they've been actually tested. and there have been no further attempted hijackings: Ergo what "threat" are these Bandits going to protect us from?

Yesterday's 'demand' also contained warnings about some need to prevent con men and others from fraudulently stealing identities and other minor crimes this is not enough reason to subject every American citizen to divulging all their personal information to any jerk with a badge, that might think a given person might present a problem. In fact that's why the Amendments to the Constitution were written-specifically to protect PEOPLE from the government; and NOT the other way round.

To solve this current attack upon the right of citizens and States to refuse to abide by a secretly written federal mandate: The States should jointly refuse to collect Federal Income Taxes for the federal government, until Chertoff is sent back to Israel, and Bush rescinds this bogus threat against the rights of every American citizen to be secure in their person, their papers, and their lives.

Chertoff does not make the laws, and the Congress had the obligation to publicly debate this obscenity before they passed it-just as the media had an obligation to report on this 'ACT' at the time. None of this was done in the interests of the public that is now expected to not only suffer from it, but to pay for it as well. The Constitution is clear about how legislation is to be handled, so that the public is represented in ALL matters that concern the freedom and the individuality of both the States and the people.

This is an attempt by the administration to begin to turn this nation into a very thinly disguised concentration camp, and they must be stopped cold in this flagrant and illegal imposition against the people of this country!

Caged Monkey SexSo clearly, I failed to communicate last time around. The article was called "UFOs Land in Arizona, Sex Orgy Ensues." Maybe I was drawing a little too heavily from "weirdo" documents -- all of which came from the US federal government -- maybe I just didn't get the point across. Maybe I'm taking too long to set things up, so let me be blunt.

Humans live in captivity. You, me, the people we know, and everyone else. It would appear that they are held in captivity by other humans, but some critics, like John Keel and Carlos Castenada, disagree with me. So did Charles Fort: "The Earth is a farm. We are someone else's property."

If you can't handle UFOs with your sex, folks, you're definitely in the wrong decade and I don't even have the heart to explain what the Space Brothers will do to you. You're also at the wrong website, at least for the next few weeks, because "alien sex" is a running theme I'm going to lubricate, stimulate and occasionally milk.

Prove It, Stoopid

animals in captivityThe social contract is lie. Nobody consulted any of us about what nation we were born in, who our parents were, what their religion was, anything. Democracy is a joke. (Actually, a gang bang.)

Look, "social conditioning" is not something that only paranoids talk about. It's increasingly recognized as a serious liability by professional people who work in high-responsibility areas. One of the most fascinating tentacles of Psychology is devoted to the study of how our social conditioning impairs our decision-making abilities -- it's called "Cognitive Bias" and it's the single best tool for DIY self-awareness training you can find this side of Yoga.

The hardest thing to do is get outside of your own head. Let's not discuss mere politics: just imagine yourself moving straight up out of your chair for around 10 vertical miles. This is the best perspective to actually see the structure and mechanics of human surface culture, and not coincidentally, it's also the UFO-eye view, although I'll be leaving the Greys alone for this article. Simple questions: are there limits on human behavior? Are humans compelled and coerced into behavior and situations they don't nescessarily desire to be in? Are there forbidden zones and mandatory actions?

There is a very strange myth about the United States of America being a "free country" and it seems to have corrupted a lot of people's thinking. There are many, many limits on your behavior. I'm not just talking about laws -- those are the new ones that aren't embedded yet. Most of our limits we're never even consciously aware of, it's just the background pulse of our culture, bringing all our brains into sync. People walk around pissed off and unhappy all day long -- do you stop them ask them what's wrong? Do you offer to help? No, because this is normal background noise. We're surrounded by aggressive, sullen and confused people who are charging up for any opportunity to unload negativity and hate unto the foreheads of some random stranger. But of course, nothing's really random, especially here in prison.

The Effects of Captivity on Human and Non-Human Animals

Noise, restraint, isolation, pain, psychological distress, overcrowding, regrouping, separation from mothers, sleeplessness, hypersexuality, surgery and anaesthesia can all increase mortality, contact sensitivity, tumour susceptibility and metastatic spread, as well as decrease viral resistance and immune response.

Captivity fucks animals up. I know I'm supposed to be a sex scientist, but that's more honest than any clinical description I could offer you. It fucks animals up, it wears down the adrenaline gland, increases the sex drive but reduces stamina and energy, and increases bizarre ritual behavior that's usually either highly aggressive or self-destructive.

Do you know what a Fnord is? It's something you learn that you can never unlearn, and it changes your perspective forever. I sometimes think of Fnords as the invisible bars of the prison planet. They're often simple facts we don't fully consider the implications of. Like last year's scientific study indicating that men who are exposed to images of hot naked women have a harder time making rational decisions. That's the most obvious thing in the world, right? We needed a scientific study to tell us that?

Well, yeah, we did, because now it's been tested enough to be a fact, instead of common sense. Common sense is what tells you "A picture is worth a thousand words," when in fact 99% of all English readers sub-vocalize when they read words, and all advertising and persuasion experts know that ad copy is more important than your images. Most of the best ones don't even bother with images. You know why? There's only about 5 images you'd be using anyways. One of them is a smiling, wealthy man. One of them is hot naked women. Look around a bar and there's Budweiser models fellating bottles everywhere. Walk past any magazine rack and there's hot naked women just begging for your rock hard, throbbing $4.99 plus tax.

Nothing is random here in prison. Our environment is not an accident.

Devo Was So Totally Right

I tried to avoid morality for 10 years straight and it finally caught up with me. I was sitting on a friend's back porch, thinking about William S. Burroughs and how disgusted he must have been when he died, watching two more generations roll over and play dead before any shots were even fired. I was watching a group of middle-school aged kids beat up on someone smaller and slower when I realized I was watching a group of kids beating another kid up. While I was sprinting down the stairs, it dawned on me that I need to stop reading and thinking for about 10 years. Lately, everything makes less sense, and everything is more detailed and beautiful.

You do need morality, not to impose on other people, but just as an internal compass. We never really know what's going on, but it's important to have good foundations for guesswork. Here's the Humpasaur Jones System of Ethics for a Prison Planet:

1) You're either helping people escape or you're keeping them in. I used to hate simple, polarized statements like that, because life and the universe is a huge open-ended game with unlimited options every single second. However, captivity imposes a structure over our lives wether we like it or not. I'm not advocating killing prison guards, unless they're serious little peckers, and even then, at least have the common decency to make sure you get away with it. I am serious, though: if you're not actively helping people escape, then your mute obedience is directly giving power to the prison system. We all need to work together to keep those fuckers on their toes.

2) You're always being monitored. So, accept that and monitor yourself. Do the people who watch over you understand your behavior better than you? Do you take advantage of self-surveillance and use it to observe yourself, and adjust your patterns and routines to be more efficient and effective? Are you comfortable with nudity? If not, why not, are you mentally retarded or something? We were all born that way -- no, really -- and it's cool. Are you comfortable with performing? Because you're always doing it whether you like it or not. I would suggest learning to like it, and do it well.

3) The worst they can do is kill you. The great thing about death is that there's really nothing worse that could happen to you, and once it happens, it can never happen again. Better yet, once you die, you're no longer in a position to be bummed about the fact you died. The situation in 2007 is already fucked beyond the point of no return. We're not saving the world, we're not going to improve things, we're not going to beat the machine. We're going to save ourselves, we're going to minimize damage where we can, and we're going to watch the machine collapse and eat itself.

And me? I'm going to go have breakfast. A lot of the inmates bitch about it, but actually, the food here is really good.

US Navy withdraws claims against Iran
Fri, 11 Jan 2008 21:01:50
The US Navy withdraws the allegation that Iranian patrol boats had threatened to blow up a three-ship US convoy in the Hormuz Strait.

"It could have been a threat aimed at some other nation or a myriad of other things," The Washington Post quoted US Navy spokesman Rear Admiral Frank Thorp IV as saying on Friday.

This is while senior US Navy sources have told the BBC that an alleged threat to blow up the US warships 'may not have come' from Iranian boats in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Pentagon alleged five Iranian boats belonging to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) had harassed three US Navy warships by threatening to 'blow them up' on Sunday.

"No one in the military has said that the transmission emanated from those boats," said Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell.

However, President Bush characterized the incident as 'provocative' and 'dangerous', warning Iran of serious consequences if it happens again.

Iranian officials have dismissed the allegation saying the incident was a routine maritime identification check, which is common between vessels in the Persian Gulf.
